RATIONALE

A SERIES INSPIRED BY THE BEAUTY OF A DEEP, DARK WINTER.

‘Midnight Magnolias’ is an expressive abstract series inspired by the beauty that emerges from the cocooning of a deep, dark winter. The intense, yet playful colour palette draws the viewer in with its warmth and mystery, whilst the high contrast promotes a striking beauty and vivid energy that commands attention and prolonged perusal. Dramatic, darling and daring these bold pieces boast artist, Chloé Newby’s signature textural application and a fine, yet bold approach to balancing colour, sure to captivate hearts and wandering minds. Read more about the process behind the collection via interview by Laura Sheppeck on the AMPR blog and via Cork & Chroma’s blog or PAINT. The Podcast.

All original artworks are now sold. However, some pieces are now available as Fine Art Prints and are also featured in my range of Greeting Cards.
